Best Budget Gaming Gear Under $50
Not everyone has $200 to drop on a mouse. I've been there. So I put together the best gear under $50 that doesn't suck. No compromises on the things that actually matter.
TL;DR - Apex M3 Lite ($50) โ the best budget mouse, wired, 72g, solid sensor - Apex H3 Budget ($60... okay $60 but close enough, still the best cheap headset) - Apex Pad Speed ($25) โ smooth glide for low sens players - The Starter Bundle at $130 saves you $50 overall
Apex M3 Lite โ $50 Wired. 72g. 12K DPI sensor. Six programmable buttons. No software installation needed โ plug and play. I've been recommending this to everyone who wants to upgrade from a cheap office mouse. The cable is braided and light enough that it doesn't drag. The sensor won't spin out even with fast flicks. For $50, this is ridiculous value.
Apex H3 Budget โ $60 I know, it's $60 not under $50. But it's the cheapest headset I'd actually recommend. 40mm drivers, 220g weight (super light), works with everything via 3.5mm. The mic is passable. The audio is good enough to hear footsteps. You won't win any audio quality awards but you'll hear where enemies are.
Apex Pad Speed โ $25 A good mousepad is the cheapest upgrade you can make. $25 gets you a speed weave surface with stitched edges and a non-slip base. I've had mine for 18 months and it hasn't frayed or lost its glide.
The Starter Bundle If you need everything, the Starter Bundle (M3 Lite + H3 Budget + Pad Speed) is $130. That's $50 less than buying separately.
Honest take You can build a solid gaming setup for under $200 total. M3 Lite + H3 Budget + Pad Speed + K3 TKL keyboard gets you everything you need for $235. That's less than a single high-end mouse.
